We are looking for a manager for Project and Planning Office Giraffe 1X

At Project and Planning Office Giraffe 1X the focus is on execution of contracts in all sizes throughout the life cycle of the products, from development contracts to service contracts.

Your role

As manager, you will manage the team of project managers and planners with the responsibility to execute won contracts, base development- and production program. T his includes securing the supply chain, good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing our ways of working within the Giraffe 1X program including contracts, base development and serial production. The unit will consist of about 20 employees with the potential to grow.

You will be a part of the Giraffe 1X organization at Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions and report to Head of Giraffe 1X.

At Business Unit Surface Sensors Solutions we have the responsibility, short and long term, to develop the Surface Sensor portfolio to become as profitable as possible. We execute our projects with the highest standard as a guiding light. We are continuously working with our leadership and culture which is a top priority for the Business Unit. Our excellent employees work in the field of Product Management, Sales and Marketing, System design, Design, Integration and Verification, Project Management, Production etc.

Your profile

We believe that you have/are:

Leadership experience with focus on business and customer understanding,

a good financial understanding and experience from project management and/or supply chain management,

driven as a person with good social skills and a willingness to build relationships internally Saab as well as externally,

the skills to create a collaborative culture with transparency, frequent feedback, respect and trust,

an understanding of production planning and manufacturing,

a team player willing to walk the extra mile for your team and its objectives,

excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
