Contract: Full time fixed 1 year contract
A PE Teacher with at least 4 years experience looking for their first leadership post or a current Head of department.
Are you looking for a full-time Head of Department position in a growing inner London school?
We are supporting a secondary school in Barking and Dagenham that is looking for a Head of PE for a fixed 1 year contract due to their current Head of PE taking on a sabbatical post within the Senior Leadership Team.
If you are a current Head of Department or an experienced PE Teacher aspiring to take on their first Head of Department role, then the Headteacher at this school would love to hear from you
You’ll be working as a Head of PE in an inner city school. The school opened in 2016 and has opened it's 6th form for the first time this September You must have experience teaching BTEC Sports to KS5 pupils.
The school has a huge focus on pastoral support and has created a behaviour policy built on mutual respect. You will be joining a motivated staffing team that has pupil and staff well-being at the heart of what they do.

Leading a team of Teachers within PE
Tracking pupil progress and identifying pupils that might require additional intervention support
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
