Project Manager/Estimator - Lab and School Fit-Out Location: About Us: My client is a dynamic and growing business specializing in lab and school fit-out projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions to educational institutions, ensuring safe and functional spaces for learning and research. As a small but dedicated team of around six staff members, we value collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing fit-out projects from inception to completion, including tendering, proposal development, and site visits. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for lab and school fit-out projects.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
Project Management:
Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, identify challenges, and gather essential information.
Highlight our unique value proposition and commitment to quality.
Monitor project costs and adjust as necessary to stay within budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management and estimation within the fit-out industry.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
