Aquent is working with our client, aUS-basedmarketing consultancy, to recruit a freelance Account Director to manage one of their global clientswithin Beauty and Homecare.You willneed a first-rate understanding of digital marketing strategy and be an expert client handler, able to juggle multiple large projects across time zones and develop and nurture relationships that drive growth.This is a great opportunity to work in a rapidly growing global agency network.

This freelance position requires an ASAP startand will run until the end of the year, with the potential to extend into January 2025. This role is fully remote, however, you will need to be based in the UK for the duration of your booking. As you will be supporting a US-based account, you will need to work later hours to accommodate collaboration with the US team, therefore the preferred working hours are 1pm – 9pm (UKtime). There is the option to work 12pm – 8pm (UK time) if you are unable to work until 9 pm.The role comes with a gross Umbrella rate of between £250 – £300 per day (through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact between the USand a global client within Beauty and Homecare
  • Leaddelivery teams in the execution of strategies, often across different time zones
  • Pivotand enrichcampaigns independently based on performance and/or environmental opportunities and challenges that emerge

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Exceptional client management skills with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role in a fast-paced agency setting
  • Strategic ability to plan for the longer term as well as day-to-day challenges
  • Proven ability to generate commercial growth, ideally in an agency Account Management function
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and handling difficult situations that may arise
  • Excellent line and people management skills, able to mentor, manage and develop direct reports and junior colleagues
  • Hands-on experience of digital marketing channels – PPC, Social and Digital PR would be ideal
  • Experience in project management software such as Asana
  • Experience in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics ideal
