I am looking to recruit a Senior Technical Manager, for an industry leading importer/exporter.
Do you have experience of overseeing the technical and product strategy?
Are you able to oversee and manage all facets of the technical remit including team members, supplier management, customer technical requirements, NPD process flow including artwork and BRCGS maintenance?

Main Responsibilities:
Strong supplier management skills and be able to demonstrate a focused, attention to detail approach to their work.
Confident to communicate and influence across both internal and external stakeholders is pivotal to success in the role.
To be solutions driven and have the ability to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
You will have an excellent food safety & preservation knowledge, including HACCP and BRCGS Regulation
Internal quality management systems and lead auditing experience.
Good IT skills across a range of Microsoft packages, customer online systems, and experience of specification portals.
An eye for detail and desire to ensure exacting product and operational standards are maintained.
Point of contact and action customer complaints requests and major issues

Key Skills Required:
Previous experience in a similar Senior Technical Manager role with varied food product experience and exposure to working with suppliers/customers
Degree level qualification in a food related field.
Experience in the Food Trading industry, ambient and grocery category exposure would be advantageous
Strong Supplier management experience is essential
Keen sense of priorities, resilient and relentless determination.
Hold self and others accountable, challenge, innovate and change
UK driving licence is essential
