Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take on a senior role in a dynamic private client tax team? Our client, a highly regarded firm, is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their specialist team. This is a unique opportunity to work with individuals and their structures on significant financial decisions, advising on assets and minimizing liabilities. Key Responsibilities: As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you will:

  • Act as account manager for a portfolio of clients within the Private Client Team.
  • Oversee the review process of all work related to clients’ affairs.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to manage client portfolios, including monitoring billing targets.
  • Provide advisory services to clients and support their compliance matters.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, monitoring their progress and resolving issues, providing timely feedback on work and reviews.
  • Stay proficient in all levels of personal tax and be aware of planning opportunities for clients, recognizing when to involve other teams to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Develop new client relationships through existing clients, business contacts, and other sources.
  • Participate in the team’s business development initiatives as required.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess:
  • ATT/CTA qualification, ACA qualification, or equivalent.
  • Experience in reviewing, preparing, and filing UK client returns.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax matters relating to private clients.
  • Strong ability to review others’ work and assess junior team members.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • A passion for supporting and developing junior team members.
  • Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with colleagues, team members, and clients.
  • Commitment to expanding personal tax knowledge and experience.
