Client Details

The client is an established regional law firm with offices across West Yorkshire. They have a growing Employment practice who is ranked as a leading team by the legal directories. The firm advise clients across a broad range of sectors from energy, retail to technology and often deal with house hold name clients. The firm offers great training and support and quick career progression.

Description

The Employment Solicitor will deal with a varied caseload including;
  • Picking up a caseload of contentious and non contentious employment matters
  • Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of employment issues from discrimination, dismissal claims and restructures
  • Drafting, negotiating, and interpreting employment contracts and agreements
  • Representing clients in employment tribunals
  • Supporting Corporate clients on corporate support work
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in employment law
  • Maintaining high levels of client service and professionalism
  • Working effectively within the legal team and contributing to its success
  • Managing case files efficiently and effectively
Profile

The successful Employment Solicitor should have:
  • Likely to be between 1-5 years PQE
  • Qualification as a solicitor in the UK
  • Specialist knowledge in employment law
  • Strong academics
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
