Bookkeeper - 1-year maternity contract possible permanent opportunity

Financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting using Xero
Sales ledger and purchase ledger- invoicing, statements, invoice coding, payments and direct debits
Daily bank reconciliation, matching invoices and preparation of monthly payment runs
Payroll - collation and inputting of hours for weekly payroll and HMRC Submissions
Credit control - customer statements and chasing of overdue payments via phone and email
Ad hoc duties such as fines and penalties for vehicles, utilities renewals etc
Minimum of 3 years' experience of working as an accounts assistant / finance assistant / bookkeeper
Experience of VAT Returns / payroll and advantage
Ideally AAT Level 3 Qualified
Knowledge and use of Xero accounting software along with MS Excel, word
Must be available to work within the office full time
