Our client is a global innovative law firm recognised for their large and impressive intellectual property practice currently recruiting a commercially aware & flexible Partner Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis.

Joining the Global Partner Talent Acquisition Team the main responsibilities for Partner Talent Acquisition Advisor will be to support and develop the Global Lateral Partner Hire Programme.


KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Supporting with the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process for partner lateral hires, from initial approach to approval of the hire.
  • Managing the Interview logs and checklists, having an awareness of where each candidate sits within that process and being relied upon to drive forward the relevant next steps.
  • Being a point of contact between the recruiter and/or partner candidate, the internal partners, and relevant business services teams, keeping all parties updated on progress and ensuring a strong candidate experience and efficient process.
  • Advising internal partners on the recruitment process such that they understand the documentation required, timelines for approval, how to build support for their proposal across the partnership and how best an offer should be structured.
  • Scheduling video and face to face interviews with internal and external people based in multiple locations. Obtaining feedback and providing feedback to agencies and direct candidates in a timely manner.
  • Responsibility for sending out key documentation to candidates at the appropriate time.
  • Working with internal partners, the Partner Talent acquisition team and the candidate to prepare each candidate's 3-year business case. Managing input from a wide range of sources, including the Heads of Practice and Sector, the Partnership Accounts team and the Risk & Compliance team.
  • Identifying and driving through improvements to existing processes within the firm.
  • Ensuring alignment with our diversity and inclusion strategic priorities and monitoring all searches and engagement accordingly.


The Partner Talent Acquisition Advisor will ideally be a commercial individual with experience in senior level professional services recruitment or someone with a background in the legal industry. It is essential to possess strong spoken and written communication skills with the ability to prepare concise, commercial papers, the ability to prioritise and is adept at working both as part of a team and autonomously. The right candidate will have good time management with the ability hit deadlines, great presentation skills and the ability to deal with highly sensitive matters and demonstrate an awareness of the confidential nature of the work. The Partner Talent Acquisition Advisor will be a self-starter with a hands-on approach with the desire to develop skills and knowledge in relation to recruitment best practice.
