**Job Title:** Crystal Processor**Company:** Hilger CrystalsHilger Crystals has a well-established history and proven reputation for producing high-quality, commercial-grade synthetic scintillation crystals used in infrared spectroscopy and state-of-the-art detection solutions used within various sectors. We are currently recruiting for a Crystal Processor role within the Arrays department.**Responsibilities:**- Cut, saw, lap & process various crystal materials- Use CNC / saws to dice crystals and have basic programming experience- Cast and cure various epoxy materials- Add foils to arrays- Test and inspect product using metrology to specifications- Document process and quality criteria in MRP system- Ensure daily production and quality targets are met- Observe and follow all Health and Safety procedures- Maintain cleanliness in the work area- Any other duties as directed by manager**Requirements:**- Accuracy and attention to detail- Organised- Good time management- Team Player- Clean and tidy approach to managing working environment- Understanding of health and safety- Previous experience in manufacturing / production environment desirable- GCSE maths and science desirable**Benefits:**- Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme- Profit Share Scheme- Subsidised Social Club & other social events- Employee Loan Scheme- Life Assurance Scheme and other health benefits- Holiday Sell Policy- Cycle 2 work schemeThis is a full-time permanent position, following a successful probation period. 37 hours per week.
