MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading manufacturing business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is an 18 Month FTC role based in Penrith.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all team members to align with all requirements and behaviours of their role.
  • Responsible for motivating, leading & coaching of all Team Members.
  • Monitor team performance, identifying, evaluating and developing initiatives to ensure skill and competency levels are maintained.
  • Ensure manufacturing and conformance to plan targets are met and deploy the labour plan.
  • Responsible for OEE and potential efficiency.
  • Ensure effective communication between manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure QMS and procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.
  • Achieve and maintain hygiene audit standards always.
  • Take accountability for ensuring all relevant documentation is completed to the required standard.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven leadership skills, leading by example, demonstrating high standards of behaviour, honesty and integrity.
  • Be a confident, effective and challenging communicator, and be able to demonstrate a track record in leading teams.
  • Management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working within a Lean Environment.
  • Develop and support the team in all areas of responsibility.
  • An accountable mentality is essential.

Circa £42k + package.
