Internal Sales Engineer

We're working with a leading manufacturer going through an exciting phase of growth. As part of their investment within the Valves & Instrumentation division, they're looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to work closely with their customers to help grow their newly formed division. Key Responsibilities: Deal with customer enquiries and produce quotations with supporting documents. Give technical advise and assistance particularly about Instrumentation and Valve products. Communicate confidently with customers and suppliers to find the best solution for each application. Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to upload and manage information, ensuring opportunities are monitored and updated to maintain a realistic and achievable sales funnel. Work with selected manufacturing partners, demonstrating knowledge of Valves and/or Instrumentation to assist customers from the outset (additional and continuous training provided). Take a Sales and Business Development approach to help build and develop the division. Requirements: You’ll need an understanding of process control, valves or instrumentation Candidates will be commutable to Southampton and happy to work in an office environment You’ll be confident with customers and open to site visits as and when required You’ll have a genuine passion for customer service and sales
