Company Type: Biotech Start-Up (Series A)

Reporting to the Finance Director you will be the 1st FP&A hire into the team.

Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost and variance analysis, generating key insights.
• Business Partnering: Provide financial support to department heads, including budget management and business plan delivery.
• Finance Operations: Ensure holistic financial responses across FP&A, Reporting, and Operations, optimizing data structuring.
• Business Planning: Assist budget holders with submissions and financial plan preparation.
• Financial Modelling: Prepare financial models and conduct ad hoc analyses for business decisions.
• Process Improvement: Lead and support process optimization initiatives within finance and with business partners.

Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, etc.) Advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerQuery, PowerBI, and Tableau is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Netsuite Planning and Budgeting, Adaptive Insights, or Anaplan is beneficial
