At KPMG, our ENR Data and AI Team focuses on enabling clients to optimise the use of their data to deliver on their business strategy and unlock strategic value. As we expand into the Middle Eastern market, we are building a new team to deliver a comprehensive suite of Data and AI solutions specifically tailored for the Energy, Natural Resources, and Renewables (ENR) sector. Our services include data strategy, governance and data management, data cleanse and migration, data architecture and AI/ML solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the design and architect Data Quality management solutions, notably using Informatica, that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Middle East, acting as a trusted advisor, whilst providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Support the definition and enforcement of ETL standards, guidelines, and best practices related to data warehousing.
  • Analyse and optimize performance of Informatica solutions.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on tools and technologies for deployment based on features, cost, and performance.
  • Define and manage the governance structure for Informatica integration development and production support.
  • Ensure standard architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT to support strategic goals.

What will you need to do it?

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and other Informatica products in a professional services environment.
  • Thorough understanding of data integration, data quality, data management, and data governance principles.
  • Experience leading ETL teams and shaping the overall ETL architecture using Informatica.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to the Middle East.
  • Certification in Informatica products.

Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:

  • Educated to degree level (preferably Masters) in a related field.
  • Experience working in the Middle Eastern market.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • DAMA (Data Management Association) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Dimensional Data Modelling using tools like ERWIN or ERStudio.
