Product Manager > PE-Backed SaaS Scale-Up | Hull (Hybrid) I’m partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS business in Hull that is transforming how public sector and construction projects are delivered. Their platform streamlines procurement, contract management, and predictive analytics removing friction from some of the most complex project environments. Following a significant private equity investment and the arrival of a new Group CTO, the business is entering an exciting scale-up phase. With investment flowing into Engineering, Product, and Data, they’re evolving the platform, expanding into new markets, and accelerating their ambition to become Europe’s leading construction procurement and analytics provider. The Opportunity They’re hiring a Product Manager to take full ownership of three flagship products and define the strategic roadmap. You’ll generate and validate ideas, articulate clear problem statements, and test assumptions rapidly in a genuinely “fail-fast” environment where experimentation is encouraged and learning is celebrated. Because the Product function is still early in its maturity, this is a rare chance to shape it from the ground up, establishing best practice, developing lightweight frameworks, and ultimately building a product capability of your own. For the right person, the path toward a future Head of Product / CPO role is realistic and supported. What You’ll Be Doing Own the roadmap for three key products, using outcome-driven and evidence-led methodologies. Partner closely with Engineering, Data, and UX to validate problems, test solutions, and ship value quickly. Facilitate cross-functional forums, manage stakeholders at all levels, and make trade-offs transparent. Champion experimentation, learning loops, and lightweight product management practices. Support the Product organisation’s growth, improving governance, tooling, and repeatable ways of working. What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing a portfolio of products within B2B SaaS. Exposure to public sector, construction, or built-environment domains is a plus. Strong capability with theme-based planning (Now-Next-Later), outcome-oriented roadmapping, and data-driven prioritisation. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; confident chairing cross-functional sessions. Familiarity with Jira, agile/lightweight governance, and modern product practices. Solid understanding of product governance, data handling, and security considerations.
