Head of Legal Are you a Legal professional looking for a change?

Ventro Group are looking for a motivated, driven, and experienced Head of Legal to lead and develop our inhouse legal practices.

Our ideal candidate will oversee the legal operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, offering expert advice on legal issues.

Duties:
focus of the Head of Legal position is construction contract related, including:
Checks and Negotiations
Setup
Management
must be taken on all checks. RAG Framework to be developed on terms that can/can’t be accepted, within set parameters to be discussed with MD of each company.
contract negotiations and drafting.
and implement legal strategies to safeguard the organisation's interests.
summary points on each contract for Operations & Commercial teams to either action or be aware of, when taking-on new contracts.
expert advice on a range of legal issues.
contracts are JCT, most often amended forms bespoke to each client.
with legal disputes & compliance within the group of companies.

Personal Specification:
~ working knowledge of legal practices
~– Solicitor/Lawyer/Barrister
~ within commercial law.
~ skills and ability to interpret contracts.
~ in analysing legal documents and providing accurate assessments.
~ interpersonal and communication skills – Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
