About DB Systel UK

DB Systel UK is looking to recruit a Senior Power Platform Developer to join the team. The successful candidate will report to the Product Owner and join the company at an exciting time as we begin to offer Power Platform services to our corporate partners within the Deutsche Bahn Group. Become part of our team as a Senior Power Platform Developer and help us to take digitization in the DB Group to a new level through low-code solutions.

In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into technical designs which will then be developed by the Power Platform team. You will assume the role of technical authority within Power Platform and enjoy coaching more junior members of the team. You will work closely with the centre of excellence in the German headquarter.

We expect the demand for our services to grow and therefore so will the team. So, joining this team at this early stage is an opportunity to demonstrate your technical leadership skills and cement your place as a key person within the team.

You don’t need to speak German to join our team, but if you do this would be a bonus

Your tasks:

  • In our projects, you will work out the requirements together with our partners and carry out effort estimates
  • You create functional and technical concepts as a basis for the implementation of your solutions
  • You will integrate e.g., microservices or data sources together with experienced software architects
  • You ensure the quality through automated deployments and tests
  • You document the development progress and status transparently and comprehensibly
  • You will independently familiarize yourself with new complex topics and contribute your newly acquired knowledge to the team in the long term
  • You will act as a consultant working directly with our internal customers
  • You will act as a coach to more junior members of the team, and you enjoy seeing them flourish in their role

Your profile:

  • You are Microsoft Power Platform Developer PL400 certified along with other relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure, Power Platform (PL), Dynamics 365, SharePoint)
  • You have practical experience in the development of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • You have successfully developed complex Solutions based on Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics integrating with other services or APIs as well as custom connectors
  • You have successfully developed and configured monitoring and security governing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform
  • You have practical experience with coding languages such as HTML, JSON, YML, DAX, Power FX
  • You have practical experience with data manipulation with MS Excel and VB
  • You have experience with integrating Artificial Intelligence within Power Platform solutions
  • Data structures in Dataverse and flows in Power Automate are your passion
  • You have worked with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
  • You have experience of creating dashboards and presenting data in Power BI
  • You are familiar with Azure Cloud Services and can select and configure components for a microservices architecture
  • You have initial experience in agile software development methods, e.g. according to Scrum and you enjoy being part of an agile, self-organized implementation team
  • You represent the company professionally to corporate partners.

 

In addition:

Occasional travel to Group Headquarters and Partner sites may be required (Germany and possibly other European countries)
