Who are we The Bedford hotel is a beautiful venue of 86 Luxury bedrooms in the heart of Belfast, previously the Scottish Mutual Building. We're seeking a seasoned HR professional, ideally with prior HR Manager experience, to join our team as Director of People and Culture. You'll be a highly motivated and personable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Successful Candidate Will Possess: Proven HR Expertise:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a progressive HR role, ideally with leadership experience. Strategic Vision:

The ability to translate the organisation's goals into actionable HR strategies and programs. People Champion:

A strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all HR processes. Role Responsibilities Fuelling Growth & Engagement: Recruit top talent & build dream teams with hiring managers. Onboard new hires seamlessly, shaping a welcoming culture. Championing Employee Success: Mediate & advocate for employees, fostering a positive environment. Design & deliver engaging training programs for continuous learning. Identify opportunities for career advancement within the organisation. Implement performance management strategies & empower managers. Strategic HR Leadership: Oversee HR programs, ensuring legal compliance & best practices. Develop & administer competitive benefits packages, attracting & retaining talent. Analyse HR data to measure initiatives & inform decisions. Drive DEI initiatives, building a diverse & inclusive workforce. Implement wellness programs, prioritising employee well-being. Key Requirements Ideally bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPD Qualified would be desirable. Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on talent management and organisational development within branded hotel environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
