Mid-weight Graphic

We’ve got big plans for 2024 and beyond, so we’re on the search for a full-time, mid-weight graphic and web designer to join our growing team.

Working alongside our Creative Lead and creative team, you’ll have the chance to work on branding projects, new websites, and those everyday bits of graphic design that are always needed for our growing list of partners.

We’re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for all things design, and can hit the ground running with a brief in hand, taking control of each project from start to finish.

Away from the creative side, we’re looking for strong communicators with good time management skills, as we’ll look to you to keep projects moving forward by speaking directly with our clients.

Your portfolio should show off your talent, ideas, and creative flair, all applied to real world commercial projects.

What we’re looking for from you

• A confident designer with high standards and attention to detail
• A genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for all things design related
• A keen eye for the latest trends and knowing where to find daily inspiration
• Good collaboration skills for working alongside our other departments
• Good organisation and communication skills, responding quickly and accurately to client feedback

Your skills

• 5+ years of experience at a similar agency
• Excellent knowledge of both graphic design and web design
• Fluent in all of the Adobe Creative Suite essentials
• Experience in Figma is a real plus, especially if you can teach us a thing or two
• If you’ve got any knowledge of basic motion & animation, then you’ll blow us away

At least one day a week can be spent working in the comfort of your own home. 

Flexitime working

Our working week is 35.5 hours, and the core hours are 10:00 - 16:00, so you can start and finish whenever you want, provided you’re working during those hours. Friday’s also have the bonus of being able to finish at 15:30.

Holidays

The role comes with 28 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), plus for every year of your services your holiday allowance increases by a day. You also get an additional day off on your birthday to celebrate (or mourn) being a year older.

Studio space

Our canal-side studio smack bang in the middle of Burnley has areas for both collaborative work or some quiet time, and plus a beer fridge and dart board. There is also on-site car parking available.

Training & development

Subscriptions

You’ll have access to a paid subscription of Brand New, plus access to a whole range of training courses on Domestika.
