*Role Title: Level 3 mechanic*

*Business Function: *Depot Operations

*Reports to: *Depot Manager

*Location: Colchester*

*Terms: *Permanent 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8-17.30, Saturday

8.30-12.30

*The Role*

We are a thriving and established company with a promising future. You will be an experienced and competent Level 3 mechanic, with the desire to complete work to the highest of standards. You will be part of the Halfords Universal team using your skills for mechanical repairs up to your level of training and completing MOT testing for vehicles.

*The Day Job*

➢ Tyre fitting – including car, van and motorcycle to your appropriate level of training.

➢ Mechanical repairs – to your appropriate level of training.

➢ Assistance in depot stock control and stock taking

➢ General depot/equipment maintenance and cleanliness

➢ Care and maintenance of all company vehicles and adherence to company driving policy

➢ Completion of job specific worksheets and servicing schedules to the required standard

You have the drive and enthusiasm to work in a high performing and committed team who has the desire to benefit from an attractive reward and benefit package. You have the skill and ability required for commercial tyre fitting with proven experience of delivering great service and working to a high standard.

➢ You have a good knowledge of tyres with significant and current fitting experience

➢ Full UK driving licence, with no more than 3 points.

➢ Proof of right to work in the UK

➢ Experience of working individually, whilst forming part of a larger team.

➢ Commitment to the contribution of a profitable business operation
