Established in January 2001, our client is a leading multi-disciplinary practice providing professional consultancy services to a diverse range of public and private sector clients. With a focus on conversion, extensions, and new builds across the North East of England and Southern Scotland, they pride themselves on delivering high standards and individual attention to all their clients. In this role, you will play a crucial role in performing house/building surveys, including full structural and defect reports. You will utilise your extensive experience in residential and commercial property to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong construction and building defect knowledge. During periods of low demand for house surveys, the role may involve other aspects of survey/inspection, specification, contract administration, and project management. To thrive in this role, you will meet the following criteria Extensive experience and knowledge of different property types and associated defects Self-confidence and the ability to work unsupervised Practical approach to buildability and on-site problem-solving Strong diagnostic skills for engineering and building defects Effective report writing and communication skills Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills What will your role look like?
