£Deputy Manager required for an OUTSTANDING Ofsted registered children's home. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager to take a lead role within a fantastic, supportive and dynamic company. Excellent salary
• Strong support structures from management staff
You will work under the guidance of the Home Manager to support and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers to provide quality care to looked after children. The young people display complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, and need guidance to develop their independence skills and ability to integrate in to society. On average 40hrs a week - plus on-call duties Some weekend and evening work required to be part of routines and coworking with specific staff and covering shifts
Diploma/ NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (or equivalent qualification) or above
• Senior experience of leading and developing others
• Desirable - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
