OUTSIDE IR35 - ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED IF NOT BASED LOCALLY

This building services consultancy is looking for a Commissioning Manager for their Data Centre projects in London and Peterborough.

THE COMPANY

  • A building services consultancy well established within the Data Centre sector

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE COMMISSIONING MANAGER:

  • The Commissioning Manager will work closely as part of the main contractor’s team in developing commissioning strategies, processes and scope of works.
  • The Commissioning manager will carry out measurements, surveys and other technical inspections
  • Reviewing and commenting on M&E commissioning method statements Production and management of progress of tracking schedules
  • Production and issuing of progress reports
  • Management and witnessing of Mechanical and Electrical functional testing
  • Manage and validate the commissioning process
  • Inspecting existing systems and evaluate performance.

COMMISSIONING MANAGER SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:

  • Ideally degree or equivalent qualification in M&E Engineering or Building Services.
  • Experience within the Data Centre sector - ESSENTIAL
  • High level of technical competence in HV distribution, LV distribution, Stand-by power.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Acceptance Test Protocols
