Location: Lymington Banding/Grade: Band 5 Pay rate (Assignment rate): £26.50 - £32 per hour. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and implement appropriate nursing interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Requirements for the Registered General Staff Nurse role: Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Minimum of 2 of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a UK healthcare setting. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Competent in medication administration and clinical procedures. Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
