1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Autism/ASD Full time £85- £110 daily rate SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to present a rewarding role for an individual who is seeking a new opportunity as a teaching assistant working with SEN/SEND/Autism/ASD to join a dynamic 2-form entry primary school in Ealing. This position involves supporting a pupil in year 2 with Autism (ASD) who is pre-verbal. The student is showing signs of speech development and would benefit greatly from a caring, committed teaching assistant who is able to further develop their speech,

as well as assist with their social and emotional development. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual support to the pupil with Autism (ASD) ensuring their safety and well-being Help implement and follow the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and behaviour management strategies Facilitate the child's communication and language development through a range of communication methods Collaborate closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to plan and adapt activities to meet the pupil's specific needs Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the pupil, promoting their social integration with peers Requirements: Relevant experience supporting children with Autism (ASD) or similar special educational needs (SEN) Understanding of pre-verbal communication methods and strategies Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet individual needs Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents Click "apply now" to be considered for this wonderful opportunity to support a young child with special education needs (SEN) or contact Lauren McNaught on or for more information.
