Residential Team Leader

Our Client is looking for Residential Team Leader Location Romford Hours: 37.5 p/w Shift Pattern:15-hour shifts (5 shifts per fortnight) over a Monday to Sunday period. Duties and Responsabilities:

  1. To assist in the smooth running of the home, being part of a multidisciplinary team promoting a warm, caring, safe and enjoyable environment.
  2. To have responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care which is free from oppression and where differences are respected and valued.
  3. Assist the management of the home in developing the skills and potential of Young Person’s Support Workers.
  4. Support the Registered Manager with the effective and efficient running of shifts.
  5. Monitor and maintain administrative requirements, ensuring that the outcome meets the standards set out in children’s legislation, and the homes working practices.
  6. Oversee, supervise and develop the skills of staff in their daily working practices.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a Children’s residential social care setting, working with young people aged 12 – 18.
  • Must have a Dbs
