As the Release Manager, you will be responsible for creating, owning, and improving the internal and customer-facing change process in Clue and ensuring all releases are a success. You will work collaboratively with all areas of the business as well as our customers, to ensure a smooth deployment of all technology projects to our customers. At Clue Software, we’re actively adopting AI to enhance our products and workflows. Act as the 'go-to' authority on all matters concerning Release Management at Clue.
Act as the Change Manager and governor of changes within Clue
Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule, including customer communications
Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
Flexibility to support out-of-hours working on an ad hoc planned basis to facilitate releases in conjunction with the Support and Platform teams
Communicate project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
Increase in deployment frequency
Lead and execute effective change management processes to ensure smooth transitions across the organization.
Excellent customer relationship management experience
Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL or similar service delivery methodologies with an emphasis on change management
Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles
Able to work independently and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
An understanding and proficiency in working as an active member of an agile development team, and the ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of Scrum.
Flexible and adaptable to ongoing change.
Knowledge of configuration management including hardware configurations
Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous development (CI/CD) systems in Azure.
Advanced Excel knowledge (dynamic queries, Power Query, linking between sheets / workbooks etc )
