V Workshop Manager to provide leadership to the Workshop Team.

The Successful candidate will be Responsible for the organisation and management of the workshop to allow an efficient and timely throughput of the planned and unplanned work. The Workshop Manager will report directly to the Directors.

Organising workshop workload ensuring Company quality and efficiency standards are achieved prioritising the workflow whilst ensuring we meet current legislations, health & safety and DVSA standards

* Monitors the requirement and authorisation of replacement parts ensuring all parts replacement is authorised by the leadership team/manufacture (Warranty/R&M) prior to repair.

* Ensure effective fault diagnosis by the Workshop team and subsequent rectification of defects through coaching and mentoring

* Manage workshop staff, ensuring productivity levels of engineers meet company expectations.

* All documentation to be completed in line with the company’s procedures and to ensure this meets the manufactures warranty and R&M standards, completing and submitting to central admin in a timely manner.

* Ensure all sub-contract repairs are recorded and costed correctly before processing invoices.

* Ensure adherence to company procedures in line with company policies, health and safety procedures in line with quality standards.

This is a mixture of office/workshop based roll
