The SAP Data Architect is the central figure in designing and building the foundation for how data flows through an organisation's SAP systems. They act as a bridge between the business world and the technical world, translating business needs into a strategic data architecture that drives informed decision-making, improves operational efficiency, and ensures regulatory compliance. In this role, you will wear many hats, from architect and data modeller to data governance champion and integration specialist. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4HANA and play a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation's data landscape.
Design and develop logical and physical data models for SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA
Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data management
Develop data governance strategies and procedures for SAP data
Implement data quality processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data
Design and implement data integration solutions for SAP systems with other enterprise applications
Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP data management technologies and best practices
Document data architecture designs and specifications
Assist in the selection and implementation of SAP data management tools.
You leverage these relationships to engage effectively and influence performance and positive outcomes, aligned with the objectives of the engagement.
You are a curious and creative thinker, willing to challenge preconceived ideas and conventions. You have the ability to create high-quality deliverables which are tailored to meet the specific needs of the engagement and the nuances of your key stakeholders and their preferred methods of communication.
