Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a Catering Manager to join our school team based in Walkden, Manchester.
This is a dual role combining 'hands on' duties e.g. food preparation, food service and cleaning as well as managerial duties.
7 Hours per day, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
'Setting up and packing away the dining and service areas - including setting up / packing away dining furniture
Preparing food and beverages
Serving food and beverages
Carrying out cashier duties during service
Cleaning the kitchen and dining room and associated furniture/equipment pre/post/during service
Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the team
Being the first point of contact for the school for catering services
Supporting control of the catering operation including stock, food, and labour costs
Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff
Attending monthly meetings with the school, Local Authority and Dalkia teams
Previous experience of working in a commercial catering environment
The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check

Knowledge of food safety regulations/HACCP
Basic IT competence - including the use of Excel, Outlook
