Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for testing, developing innovative ideas, and providing support? 
We have an emerging opportunity within our IT Risk and Control team for the position of Senior IT Control Tester to join our Head Office IT team at EG Group. This role involves collaborating closely with IT colleagues, Control Owners, and Operators to implement and manage IT controls, assess technology risks, and continuously improve our IT Risk and Control Framework, including supporting policies and practices.
Conduct controls testing on in scope IT General Controls (ITGC) to determine design and/or operational effectiveness of controls in line with our methodology and to external audit standard.
Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure adequate controls assurance is in place including the performance of SOC control reviews.
Perform quality assurance reviews over SOC and ITGC testing activities conducted by the wider team.
Support the IT Controls Test Lead on issues management and remediation activities to drive improvement over controls performance.
Provide training and development to control owners and operators, along with ensuring training materials are up to date.
Support with the management of the test schedule using ServiceNow to ensure controls are tested in priority order and adjustments are made as the overall risk profile changes across the IT landscape.
Drive an effective risk & control culture across EG Group, promoting accountability, responsibility, and action, acting as an IT Control ambassador for the Technology function to ensure best practices are shared and actions delivered.

CISA, CRISC or similar professional qualifications but training will be provided
~ ITIL, COBIT, SOX knowledge – Desirable
~2-3 years of experience working within an IT control testing programme
~ Experience working in an external audit team within a Big 4 or similar corporate environment, including support for external IT audits – Desirable
~ Confident in all aspects of IT General Controls design and test across access, change and operations domains
~ Able to partner within and beyond the team, building productive, cross business relationships
Organised, methodical with excellent project management skills
Knowledge of ServiceNow - Desirable
