For many years our pub was used as a hospital and the beautiful views that you can now enjoy from our garden room, helped to lift the spirits of those convalescing.
Now the building has been lovingly transformed into what you see today, a country pub bursting with character and original features with a big old bar at the heart of all things, serving local ales and packed with our collection of whiskies and gins.
We have a mixture of rooms to suit the mood, light and airy or snug and 'beamed' with roaring fires. Including profit share paid monthly based on your pub's performance

We encourage movement between our pubs so you can have a long-term career with B&P.
Our kitchens are dynamic, fast paced, and high volume so you will have experience of being a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub, working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward, helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. You'll also need excellent business acumen to manage a well-run kitchen, keeping on top of your stock, GPs and labour controls.
