Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and during other school activities.
Assist in the implementation of personalized learning plans, ensuring each student’s unique needs are met.
Help students with daily tasks, fostering independence and confidence.
Participate in training and professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN support.
Empathy and Patience: Do you have a genuine understanding and compassion for the challenges faced by SEN students? Clear and open communication is essential in providing effective support.
Your creativity will help in developing engaging and effective support strategies.
Collaboration with teachers and other support staff is crucial in providing the best care for our students.
Strong organizational skills are key to supporting various students with different needs.
Passion for Education: Are you enthusiastic about helping students succeed? Your passion will inspire and motivate the students you support.
Relevant experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs.
Qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support (desirable but not essential).
Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
A proactive and positive approach to supporting learning and development.
