Electronics Engineer for Electric Propulsion
Role Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing space startup company and play a key role in the development of air-breathing electric propulsion technology.
We are seeking for enthusiastic, creative and hard-working electronic engineers to join our power and propulsion scientists and engineers in the development of our flagship satellite to ultra-low Earth Orbit (ULEO).
Applicants should be able to design, build and test electronic circuits for sensing, real-time monitoring, communicating and controlling various subsystems of the air-breathing propulsion system from the ground-up.
Excellent understanding of the fundamentals (theory and practice) of digital and analogue electronics, and control.
An advanced university degree either MEng, MSc, or preferably a PhD in electronics or a relevant field.
Capable of designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting circuits involving FPGAs and MCUs from scratch, with little supervision and assistance.
Experience using electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analysers etc.).
Research and development projects (PhD research is considered).
Digital signal processing in noisy environments, preferably with FPGAs.
