My Client is a leading construction company based in the heart of Dartford is currently seeking to hire an experienced and skilled senior mechanical estimator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for complex projects using their expertise.
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
# Minimum 5 years' experience as a mechanical estimator with proven track records

Strong Analytical Skills - Ability to analyse data quickly and make informed decisions on pricing strategies that benefit both parties (client & organization)
# Attention-to-Detail - You must have excellent attention-to-detail when working with project specifications and drawings so you can provide precise quotations
# Communication - Excellent communication ability is crucial because this role requires close collaboration between clients, contractors, architects/engineers which necessitates effective articulation of ideas verbally or via written mediums such as emails reports etcetera

Coordinating meetings/discussions between subcontractors/suppliers/customers/architects/engineering consultants/project managers during tenders preparation stage where necessary
Participate actively throughout all stages of contract negotiation processes up until its signing off by appropriate stakeholders
This permanent position comes with highly competitive remuneration package up to £65,000 commensurate upon qualifications/experience plus other benefits like pension scheme contribution among others
