A dynamic Secondary School in Hillingdon are seeking a dedicated Physics Tutor to join their thriving Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise in Physics to provide tailored support to students, helping them excel in this challenging subject. Whether you're an experienced tutor or a recent graduate, this role offers valuable experience within an educational setting.
As a Physics Tutor, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted support to students in Physics, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
- Assisting teachers in the Science department to deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Supporting students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams, helping them build confidence in key topics and concepts.
- Helping to create a positive and inspiring learning environment, encouraging a passion for Physics and Science.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, adapting tutoring approaches to meet individual learning needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Physics or a related subject, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- A passion for education and helping students succeed, with a proactive and supportive approach.
- Experience tutoring or teaching Physics (desirable but not essential for graduates).
