We're in search of a Linux Systems Engineer to join our client’s Trading Systems Infrastructure team. Our client takes a research approach to trading, having built an ultra-sophisticated computing environment for R&D, being at the forefront of innovation in algo trading. We're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect with strong expertise in AWS. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on their AWS Linux-based crypto trading platform.
Research and apply network latency optimization techniques to enhance trading efficiency.
• Define, standardize, and implement technical requirements for high-frequency crypto trading systems on AWS, emphasizing performance and reliability.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to support system management and optimization efforts.
• Optimize performance for both bare metal and cloud environments.
• Provide support to internal teams throughout the implementation process. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and engineering.
• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on AWS, preferably in high-frequency trading environments or similar performance-focused roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
• Strong understanding of AWS and on-premise networking for application-side requirements.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and trading systems.
