Injection Moulding Shift Leader

Job Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off - Days and Nights rotational (7-7)

We’re supporting our client, a leading global Storage components manufacturer based in Banbury, who are looking for a Shift Leader to join their growing team. The successful Shift Leader will have experience of Injection Moulding Production Processes, KPI’s and Training staff.

Position Overview: As an Injection Moulding Shift Leader, you'll be effectively supervising a shift within the Injection Moulding Department to ensure the smooth running of the production process. Supervising and training staff to maximise potential output. Ensuring production output levels are maximised in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities for Injection Moulding Shift Leader:

* Has direct responsibility for the performance of assigned shift team while also ensuring that wastage is kept to a minimum.

* Conducts daily briefing sessions prior to shift start.

* Provides a clear and concise handover to the next shift leader ensuring priorities are captured and problems highlighted.

* Carries out disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.

* Manages daily/weekly payroll reporting for permanent and temporary staff in line with company policies

* Manages company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

* Technical expertise of injection moulding preferred but not essential.

* Able to take personal leadership to develop and promote fundamental disciplines and principles through cross-functional team-building.

* Able to demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.
