This local education institute are offering just that. Based in Totnes, they pride themselves in being a great place to work for all employees. They want to uphold a friendly and supportive environment from individuals from all walks of life.

In this days-based role you will undertake a variety of tasks such as basic plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry. You will also make sure the school is running to the high standards expected from all members of staff. You will have shared access to a company van for deliveries and stock collections. The shift pattern will alternate weekly from early starts to later finishes (07:00-13:00 or 14:30-19:30).

The ideal candidate will have a good hands-on background in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance including DIY skills, as full training is provided. However, candidates with worked in a school environment where you have been hands are encouraged to apply.

This is a brilliant role for someone to become a vital cog in the wheel and really make a difference to people's lives.

The role:

*Monday to Friday *alternating weekly shift patterns (07:00-13:00 or 14:30-19:30) *Basic maintenance, basic plumbing and basic electrical *Full training provided

The person:

*Have good hands of skills i.e. basic plumbing, basic maintenance and basic electrical *Have experience working in a building environment or good hands-on skills
