Salary: £25k - £28k DOE

Are you experienced in panel assembly and wiring in a factory-based setting?

Do you have a basic understanding of PLC systems?

Can you read technical drawings?

We are seeking a practical and methodical Panel Wireman to join our client's established organization in Rochester. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of their expansion and success

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately layout and wire control systems based on technical diagrams
  • Check purchased components against wiring diagram specifications to identify any anomalies
  • Independently wire control panels and test functions
  • Collaborate with the Design team to make modifications based on feedback
  • Create and organize all related documentation for the control panel for efficient delivery and record-keeping
Qualifications:
  • Electrical qualification with a desire to work in Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical integrated systems
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Ability to read technical drawings and apply them in the workplace
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Positive attitude towards work with a solid working history
  • Full driving license and own car required due to location
