Warranty/QA Controllers

role is split into two functions. Decision making and processing of all warranty claims, alongside quality control of parts, including Return to Vendor processes. Thoroughness and attention to detail will be rewarded with tangible results in reducing warranty claims and improving the quality of components being received for production. Warranty/QA Controller

duties and responsibilities: Oversee the web-based warranty claims system. Decide on warranty claims. Monitor safety recalls and action new recalls when required. Process returned Process warranty invoices. Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports. Liaise with suppliers about ongoing quality concerns. Identify and isolate faulty components. Process and chase supplier returns. And many other associated tasks. Warranty/QA Controller skills: Strong, clear, written communication skills Attention to detail. Good understanding of MS-Word and MS-Excel. Willingness to be hands-on, handing parts and potentially packing and shipping. Desire to build a level of technical understanding. Confidence to talk to suppliers about quality concerns. Able to travel to make supplier visits. Experience in warranty processing at a dealer level is an advantage.
