BMS Application Engineer | Data Centres | Critical Infrastructure | UK, Remote (within the UK)
As a pivotal member of their Global Engineering Team, you will be a key contributor to the development of standardised BMS applications software, tailored for Data Centre and other Mission Critical Infrastructure Projects.
This role offers the chance to innovate within a collaborative, fast-paced international environment, delivering exceptional results that drive customer satisfaction, project margin improvement, and repeat business.

Develop Standardised Software : Design BMS application standards using Function Block and/or Scripting languages.
Create software from scratch based on Sequence of Operation (SOO) , specifically for HVAC and/or chilled water systems . Write and test software adhering to industry standards ( e.g., CIBSE ), ensuring quality and reliability.
Thoroughly document all application standards and follow stringent software qualification processes.
Work seamlessly with global teams to execute projects effectively, maintaining open communication with customers and stakeholders.
Drive enhancements to customer engineering standards and internal processes for optimal project delivery.

You will work remotely with occasional travel to clients based on specific needs.

Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in developing BMS applications/software in mission critical environments.
Background in Data Centres or other mission-critical market sectors highly desirable.
Software Skills : developing software from scratch using a Statement of Objectives (SOO).
Strong experience in creating software from the ground up to control mission-critical systems, such as HVAC, chilled water systems, cooling systems, etc.
Project Management: Ability to handle multiple priorities with time-constrained deliverables.
Agile and proactive mindset to excel in a fast-paced environment.

HNC level (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
Exposure to IoT and Smart Building technologies, including certifications in IoT platforms and data analytics tools relevant to BMS.
Training in HVAC system design and control strategies would be highly beneficial.
