Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Dar is seeking a highly-driven and talented engineer to join our Water and Environment (WE) Department. The WE team is a mission-driven team delivering exceptional water infrastructure solutions, environmental planning and design services for communities around the world. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on highly impactful projects – often from the earliest stages of planning and design to supervision of construction and final handover – in many countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Experience in modelling and designing water and infrastructure networks, including among other subspecialties, water transmission and distribution networks, sewer and drainage networks, hydraulic structure designs, hydrology and surface water modelling, etc… and should be versed in using industry-standard software programs to develop the design.
Solid understanding of stakeholder engagement and the wider societal, economic, and logistic issues connected to water infrastructure design.
Ability to immediately learn design standards and criteria of/for municipalities and other regulatory authorities in countries of operation.
Excellent English communication skills, Arabic, French or Portuguese are a plus.
Excellent computer skills in a variety of software packages including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS projects, etc..)
Experience in water resources engineering and modelling.
Ability to respond to client’s proposal requirement and deliver project proposals for efficient and competitive bids
