Manufacturing Test Engineer
An exciting opportunity awaits you as a Manufacturing Test Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting current and future equipment introductions for testing HVDC Products. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the efficient execution of complex electronic assembly testing, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for test equipment. This position demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to maintain high-quality standards and contribute to the company's long-term success.
Change Implementation:
Timely Implementation:
Implement test equipment promptly to support manufacturing operations.
Work within a team environment to resolve issues and meet manufacturing goals and milestones.
Operator Training:
Provide training and support to production operators for effective equipment usage.
Update and create work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for test processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Serve as the competent person for production, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
Significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment.
HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
HVDC Product Testing:
Familiarity with HVDC product testing processes is advantageous.
Understanding of IT requirements for test system integration, experience with Ni TestStand/LabVIEW, knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods, and familiarity with ISO standards are beneficial.
Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
Language Proficiency:
Proficient in English, written and verbal; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
Prior experience in a manufacturing test environment supporting and maintaining production test equipment is preferred.
