- Establishing strong relationships with clients. Plus, identifying and contacting potential new clients.
- Gathering sufficient client information and identifying client requirements.
- Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable mortgage product recommendations.
- Ensuring a seamless process of the mortgage application, completing all supporting documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Attaining and maintaining competent status as defined by the FCA and the company. Complying with the Compliance and Training & Competence Schemes/Procedures of the firm. In addition to the requirements of the FCA.
- A strong track record in mortgage advising within the independent market is essential (gained either on an employed or on a self employed basis).
- In turn you must hold the full CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification.
- As an established, existing Mortgage Advisor it is expected that when moving into this role you will already have a certain number of your own existing, established clients. Although, you will also benefit from receiving new clients regularly from the company.
- You must be self-motivated and ambitious.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
