Head of IT Access Operations

Location: Reading, UK – Hybrid Working

Salary: £90,000

The Company

A dynamic and rapidly growing Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Reading are seeking a skilled and motivated Head of IT Access Operations, to play a pivotal role in shaping the business’s IT Strategy, governance and procedures driving excellence in their Fibre Services.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of an industry-leading ISP. You will have real freedom in your work and be able to see the impact of your innovations.

You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid and flexible manner, being supported to work however is best for you.

Head of IT Access Operations Role Overview

As the new Head of IT Access Operations, you will spearhead the strategic development and management of procedures and Operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the ongoing success of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and constructing the IT Services Operations, a key focus of your role.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the strategy of the operational assurance.
  • Have an operational owner for key supplier contracts and relationship.
  • Have ownership of internal or outsourced operational services.

Your Qualifications and Experience

The business is seeking a candidate with a proven track record in IT Services, a passion for Strategy and Operations, and an in-depth understanding of the Fibre landscape. The following qualifications and skills are essential:

  • Proven success in strategizing and designing IT Operations.
  • Previous experience in IT Operations, and Network Assurance.
  • Have prior experience within the Fibre and Build industry, offering insights into its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Be accountable for all IT Services and Governance.
  • Effective Communication: Confidence in communicating adeptly with both technical and sales teams, fostering clear understanding and collaboration.
