Scaffold Design Engineer

Scaffold Design Engineer - Required for my client for their established team based out of their office in Essex. The Scaffold Design Engineer with have a strong scaffold designing background with a minimum 3 years' experience. The Scaffold Design Engineer will work on site surveys, structural analysis and independent checks. Scaffold Design Engineer Position Remuneration Full time position - Monday to Friday Flexible start and finish to working day 28 days annual holiday including the usual 8 bank holidays, increasing with length of service Competitive salary, with annual pay reviews Company Mobile/Smart Phone Family Friendly Policies Professional study support and in-house technical training Range of employee benefits in support of health and wellbeingScaffold Design Engineer Position Overview Site visits and surveys Identifying clients' needs Carrying out designs using AutoCAD Producing supporting calculations and conducting structural analysis Reading and referencing complete structural drawings Client liaison both face to face and in writing/by phone as necessaryScaffold Design Engineer Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (we would also be interested to hear from anyone with an HNC in Engineering coupled with working experience of Scaffold Design) Be able to evidence practicality, efficient use of materials and efficiency in producing designs Possess advanced level use of AutoCAD to produce high quality design drawings Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, highly skilled in spreadsheet production and formulae, to produce supporting calculations Be able to demonstrate relevant experience working with structural analysis software tools in line with current standards Competent at reading and interpreting complex structural drawings to enable the production of project specific, accurate designs Have a friendly, collaborative outlook, which will be invaluable in establishing and building client relationships Skilled at communicating effectively with clients on the telephone and face to faceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
