Fluent Mandarin Trade Finance Officer

Our client is looking for Fluent Mandarin Trade Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Role: To develop Trade finance products covering import and export sides; to promote Trade finance products to local clients and to develop relationships with trade finance clients Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • To market existing and potential clients’ products and service offered
  • To participate in trade finance transactions
  • To develop and maintain Trade finance products covering import and export sides
  • To investigate and analyse the trade finance markets and the products
  • To provide training on trade finance products and policies
  • To review and develop the credit risk related policies and procedures
  • To maintain a keen interest and awareness of market trends
  • To establish and maintain credit risk management controls, systems and procedures that meet the requirements of the Client, the regulators and external auditors
  • To assist in achieving departmental objectives and business administrative supports
  • To provide management information on a regular and as-and-when needed basis.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree and/or appropriate professional qualification level
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products in the areas of import and export trading
  • Good understanding of whole banking products
  • Excellent language skill in English (Chinese speaker preferred)
  • Relevant products sales experience
  • At least 3 years’ experiences in trade finance sector
  • Sound and proven analytical, credit and risk skills
  • Compliance and Regulation conversant.
