Position: Senior Town Planner Location: Crawley, UK (Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in-office) Salary: up to £40,000 p/a plus benefits. They have a team of 12 passionate planning professionals committed to shaping better environments for communities across the UK. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in their dynamic team, collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging your expertise to drive successful planning projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and analysis to support planning applications.
  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and planning applications.
  • Providing expert advice on planning policies and regulations.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Town Planning or related field.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in town planning, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
