Customer Service Specialist (Hybrid – Bristol) Contract: Full Time Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK) Overview Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join their growing customer experience team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on helping others, enjoy building strong relationships, and want to contribute to an organisation with a meaningful social impact. You will work within a supportive environment where calls are unscripted, decision-making is empowered, and innovation is encouraged. This is a full-time role based on a 38-hour shift pattern between 8:30 am – 6:15 pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. The position offers hybrid working, enabling up to two days per week from home. Responsibilities Manage customer queries from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring a positive and supportive experience. Build trust and rapport with customers, tailoring communication to different needs and situations. Handle sensitive conversations with empathy and maintain professionalism at all times. Contribute to an environment focused on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Collaborate closely with colleagues to share insights and improve service delivery. Participate in ongoing development opportunities to progress within the organisation. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service role (any sector). Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond effectively. Ability to influence, support and guide customers through decision-making. Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Natural drive to achieve results and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
